The ancestors of today's owners were responsible for surveying the entire district in 1861 and given the choice of any location they decided that this was the loveliest of them all. As you look at the stunning views you can understand why - Avoca and Snowdon peaks tower overhead and waterfalls cascade down into valley streams. The farm is still owned by the same family as those early settlers and today they breed magnificent Sussex cattle and huge numbers of sheep - famed for their high quality Merino wool. |
