Situated between Barkly East and Rhodes with views of the stunning Eastern Cape Drakensberg, the Old Dairy is a beautiful sandstone barn built in 1890. The building has been recently been converted from a milking parlour using local natural materials. The combination of sandstone blocks, timber and river rocks gives the restaurant an elegant and rustic atmosphere that fits well with the barn's history and tranquil  location.

Our most recent conversion has provided seating capacity of 150+, so we are now taking bookings for larger functions and country weddings in a romantic setting.
