Don't forget to put anti-freeze in your vehicle if travelling during colder months.

If you are planning to do a lot of driving on gravel roads, then you may find that slightly lowering the tyre pressure as you leave the gravel gives a more comfortable ride and helps to lessen the chance of punctures.

Fuel is available in Barkly East, Lady Grey, Elliot and Maclear - if you are planning to drive mountain passes then fill up as you leave these towns.
