1-DAY TRAIL RIDE AND OVERNIGHT CAMP
We will arrive at Nomlengana in the Telle Falls Valley in the late afternoon where we have established a wonderful tented camp. This remote and unspoiled valley in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho is Africa at it's purest and most spectacular. The tents are set adjacent to traditional Basotho-style huts housing the kitchen, lapa and ablutions.
After welcome drinks you can enjoy a steamy hot shower, go for a walk or just relax before a delicious braaied supper. After breakfast the following morning you and your luggage will be transported back to Kernow to collect your vehicle.

The return journey starts along the beautiful rivers of the Danger's Hoek valley before climbing up to Lundean's Nek where awesome views of the Lesotho mountains can be enjoyed. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location en-route. On arrival back at Kernow there will be an opportunity for all guests to go and freshen up at their B&Bs before returning for dinner, a few drinks and a chance to reminisce about the previous two days' exhilarating African adventure.

OUR HORSES
The horses that we use for trails are mainly mixed breed, combining Arab, Boerperd and Basotho lines to produce a tough and hardy type that handles our terrain and climate well. Our horses are also used for checking stock and their varied lifestyle means that they are well-schooled, willing trail horses, happy in their work. All were born in this area meaning that they know the terrain like the back of their hoof! We pride ourselves in owning well-cared for horses.
