	Mar 2011	CLIFFORD MOTORBIKE RALLY
	Easter 2011	LADY GREY PASSION PLAY A cast of 132 speaking characters as well as a chorus, choir, troupe of dancers and live visual artists, and is presented over a period of three days during the Easter Weekend. Parts of the play are staged around the town: in the streets, at the scenic Lady Grey dam and at the historic NG Kerk.
	June 2011	RIDE TO RHODES A gruelling 550km MTB ride from Pietermaritzburg to Rhodes Village, this marathon event The Ride to Rhodes also the first stage of the Freedom Challenge - one of the toughest MTB rides in the whole of Africa. More information about the 2011 Ride to Rhodes.

	July 2011	RHODES TRAIL RUN The Rhodes Run, South Africa's coldest premier trail race is staged in the tranquil beauty of the Eastern Cape Drakensberg mountains surrounding the Victorian-era hamlet of Rhodes. This event is limited to 300 runners and is often held in sub-zero temperatures with snow on the 52km route.
